The Connected Minds CFREF research program has awarded its first round of Team Grants to researchers advancing technology to build a healthier, more just society.

Professors Shital Desai and Claire Davies are focused on inclusive workplace design for people with speech impairments. The "When People Talk, Listen Completely" project receives $1.5M in funding. Mojde Kalantari, a SaTS lab student, will receive funding for her project on life narrative design to support cancer patients in coping with the trauma associated with cancer treatment and recovery.
